How to Develop Emotional Well-Being in Children

This encouraging and uplifting workshop can open hearts and enhance parent-child connections by opening new channels of communication. This two hour presentation helps parents build self-esteem and emotional stability in their children.  Youngsters learn self-awareness, self-respect and self-esteem— it’s okay to like yourself!  When children understand and talk about their feelings, they can effectively handle themselves when upset or over-whelmed.

The objectives include:
  • Self-awareness - help children assess their feelings
  • Self-management – help them express emotions without hurting others
  • Communication skills – help them handle stress and control impulses
  • Body-awareness – help them tune in to non-verbal messages.

Social and emotional learning can set children and their families on a positive trajectory that will benefit them throughout their lives.
